What Is Not Considered a Manufacturing Fault?Updated 2 months ago
Our 12-month warranty covers manufacturing faults only.
To help clarify what falls outside this coverage, here are examples of issues that are not considered manufacturing faults and therefore not covered under warranty:
- General wear and tear from regular use
- Damage from improper care, impact or negligence
- Broken or bent claws/prongs caused by catching or force
- Misshaping, scratches or dents from physical activity or handling
- Chipped, cracked, broken or lost gemstones, including from knocks or pressure
- Repairs, resizing or alterations carried out by another jeweller
- Stretched or broken chains due to pulling, snagging or excessive force
- Natural gemstone inclusions, which are part of the stone’s unique character and not considered flaws
All Black Finch pieces are handcrafted using precious metals and natural gemstones, both of which require care to maintain their beauty and integrity. Inclusions are a natural part of gemstone formation and are embraced as part of the stone’s individuality, not as imperfections.
