Our product imagery is shot under professional lighting to reveal the detail and colour play of each gemstone. We use minimal retouching to ensure what you see is as close to reality as possible.

Gemstones, particularly sapphires, can appear differently depending on the light source. Under natural daylight, colours are typically at their most balanced and true. In warm indoor lighting (incandescent), blue tones may deepen, while in cooler lighting (LED or fluorescent), greens and violets may become more pronounced. Some rare stones, like colour-change sapphires, can shift hue entirely between light sources- a phenomenon we’ll always call out in the product description.

When it comes to re-crafting a made-to-order design, we do our absolute best to match stones to the listings description, however very slight variations in colour, clarity and cut are part of what makes each jewel special.
